Sporting larger grills that would make Nelly proud, the sequel to Samsung’s first and popular Android tablet (Galaxy Tab 10.1) has passed the FCC and will be coming soon to At&T. Branded as Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 the tablet will also arrive with its smaller 7 inch screen sibling, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7. While Samsung take shows no regard to avoid numerical confusion, the tablets internals will remain the same and sports minor upgrades. The aging yet powerful still powerful Tegra 2 will make a return with 1GB of Ram. The tablets will also ship with Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung’s famous TouchWiz interface.

Both models will also include HSPA+radios but details are scarce if they will include LTE.

While it appears the included changes were cosmetic, the appearance should be enough to appease Apple’s legal team. While it’s still short of Apple’s ideal Samsung Tablet:

    I think the new design is stupid. I have a galaxy tab 7 plus. This green design I would not buy. Vomit.
