Quick! Popular daily deal site, Daily Steals, has two models of the first Android tablet, Motorola Xoom, up for grabs for a handsome price. For those looking to purchase an Android tablet without a data contract, the site has marked down the 3G version for a measly $269.99. That’s a saving of 61% ($430 USD) off the retail price ($699). Traveling abroad? This version is GSM unlocked so sticking a native country’s sim card should work.
Daily Steals also has the WiFi model for only $239.99 netting you a %52 ($260) savings from the regular $499 price. It’s marked for “Last Call” so this will be the last time you’ll see this for a long while.
Both tablets can also be updated to Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich so don’t fret about missing out on the search giant’s latest and greatest. Don’t be surprised to find the update already available straight out of the box. Daily Steals has included a 90 Day warranty for each slate so you can give these early Android tablets a try. Bear in mind that the sale ends after today, so these offers are extremely limited.
Except for the 3G baseband, both tablets are pretty similar:

• 32GB capacity
• GSM 850/900/1800/1900
• 10.1” multi-touch HD display

• MicroSD card slot (supports up to 32GB)
• HDMI output

• 3.5mm headphone jack
Another popular tech retailer, Newegg, has the wildly popular ASUS Transformer for up for grabs. For $274.99 you can grab the tablet (sans keyboard) versus the retail price of $399.99. The deal also includes Cresyn Headphones (while supplies lasts!) though the bargain is already a great incentive. For those looking for a bigger bang for their buck can also grab the (refurbished) keyboard and slate combo for $404.99 adding another $20 to your savings and an extra 8+ hours to your tablet. Oh did I mention free shipping?
While the ASUS Transformer looks a bit outdated, thanks to it’s newer quad core brother, the Transformer Prime, it’s dual core Tegra 2 is still no slouch either. WithTegra Zone bundled, it showcases some of the greatest games to take advantage of NVIDIA’s processor. Like the Xoom it’s also also received the Ice Cream Sandwich update not too long ago (though met with some problems). Still not convinced? Check out the small break down below:

On the side note, RIM’s Playbook looks a bit lost and lonely:
