The Transformer Pad Infinity, the new flagship tablet from ASUS is a great successor to the Transformer Prime. Although it is a remarkable device, it isn’t without issues. A small group of users were complaining of minor issues with performance and SD card incompatibilities.
The Taiwanese company is looking to rectify the situation by releasing a new over the air (OTA) update. As mentioned, the update is intended to address any SD card issues and give it a general boost in performance. The update will be available for both U.S. and international tablets but has yet to appear on ASUS’ site. Users who have already received the update are also claiming of better touch screen responsiveness.
In order to check whether the update is available for your tablet:
Go to Settings
then about tablet
from there Software Updates
Now hit the Check For Update button
The version number will be updated to 9.4.5.26 and if you have yet to receive it, we encourage you to either keep checking back or wait until your device prompts you for the update. Rest assure though that the update will definitely reach you within the next few days.
